This clearly goes against the Indian parents’ theory of securing good grades for getting good jobs as marks won’t be an obstacle for getting a place at the EY however, that does not imply that marks or good grades won’t matter at all.

EY’s Managing Partner for Talent, Maggie Stilwell, said, “Academic qualifications will still be taken into account and indeed remain an important consideration when assessing candidates as a whole, but will no longer act as a barrier to getting a foot in the door.”

“Transforming our recruitment policy is intended to create a more even and fair playing field for all candidates, giving every applicant the opportunity to prove their abilities.”

So now with this the coming age of aspirants won’t need to go through the scalding heat of lectures from moms about not scoring enough!
