For the 4th time since 1998, France has booked its place into the finals after defeating the world champions Germany 2-0 and will face the Ronaldo army in the upcoming battle to clinch the Euro Championship Title. Antoine Griezmann, the star performer for the France scored on either side of half time. In the first half added time, a handball from Bastian Schweinsteiger resulted in a penalty kick for the mighty France and Antoine Griezmann had no trouble to convert the penalty into a successful first half lead.
Griezmann then got his second on 72 minutes, as France profited by a mix-up from Germany’s Joshua Kimmich. The German lost the ball in the crate to Paul Pogba, who made a move and sent in a cross that Neuer couldn’t deal with, with Griezmann completing a loose ball in the container.
Germany kept on pushing up to attempt and get again into the entertainment, yet shots were high and wide as France clutched come back to the Euro final surprisingly since 2000. Antoine Griezmann in extreme happiness adding to his words said that “We are like kids playing out here as we have a whole nation behind us.”
