Watching spy films on a wide screen may be an exciting experience. Filmmakers have been telling some truly excellent stories in the last several years. Check eight of these films.
1. Pathaan (2023)

With Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan made his big-screen comeback following a nearly five-year hiatus. He portrays a RAW agent in it who battles Jim, a former RAW agent gone rogue (played by John Abraham). The movie is full of incredible action scenes, inspirational themes about patriotism, and dance-worthy songs.
2. Ek Tha Tiger (2012)

The YRF spy universe, which is currently one of the greatest franchises in Bollywood, was launched by Kabir Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger. It tells the story of Salman Khan, a RAW agent, and Katrina Kaif, an ISI agent, as they meet and finally fall in love.
3. Raazi (2018)

Meghna Gulzar is the director of Raazi, which she wrote along with Bhavani Iyer. The movie, which is based on Harinder Sikka’s 2008 novel Calling Sehmat, centers on a RAW spy (played masterfully by Alia Bhatt) who marries into the household of a Pakistani military commander in order to provide intelligence before the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war. The film’s intense tension made it a huge economic and critical success, and it’s a must-see.
4. Vishwaroopam (2013)

Among the most ambitious and talked-about films of 2013, Vishwaroopam was co-written, co-produced, co-starred, and directed by Kamal Haasan. The picture features a strong ensemble of actors and a well-developed plot. It tells the tale of a classical dancer whose wife hires a detective, revealing who he really is.
5. Mission Majnu (2023)

Sidharth Malhotra portrays a RAW agent in the movie assignment Majnu, who travels to Pakistan in order to complete a desired assignment both before and during the 1971 conflict. 6. Madras Cafe (2013)

Madras Cafe, directed by Shoojit Sircar, is still regarded as one of the best spy or espionage movies ever filmed. The 1980s and 1990s Sri Lankan civil conflict serves as its focal point. Among the actors in the movie are John Abraham, Raashi Khanna, and Nargis Fakhri. It was well received by critics when it was released and took home the National Award for Best Audiography.
7. D-Day (2013)

D-Day centers on a group of RAW agents who are out to apprehend the chief of India’s most wanted D-company. Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan, who gave some of the best performances on the big screen, are among the ensemble star cast members. 8. Baby (2015)

Neeraj Pandey and Akshay Kumar work together to create one of Bollywood’s best espionage spy thrillers. One of the greatest Indian movies of this kind, Baby is still full of action, suspense, and high-octane moments. Naam Shabana, a precursor spin-off, was also influenced by it.
