Comedian Kapil Sharma, one of the top entertainers on Indian television, was not being funny on Friday morning when he tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in some tweets complaining about corruption, also sarcastically referring to “Achhe Din”.

In a sarcastic tweet put out to Prime Minister Narendra Modi standup comedian and actor Kapil Sharma stated – “Yeh hain aapke achhe din ? @narendramodi “.

This came after he had tweeted on Friday morning stating that he was asked to pay Rs. 5lakhs as bribe by the BMC for making an office in the city.

In a tweet put out from his official handle the actor said, “I am paying 15 cr income tax from last 5 year n still i have to pay 5 lacs bribe to BMC office for making my office @narendramodi.”

Adding to the huge fan following, the post has been re-tweeted over 4000 times till now. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has written to Mr Sharma asking for a formal complaint and urging him to name the officer who demanded bribe from him.

Kapil Sharma who hosts a weekend comedy show, is not new to any celebrity, whether famous bollywood star, politicians and even foreign stars.

Earlier this year, he had said in an interview that he would like to have PM Modi as a guest on his show. And now circumstances made him tweet in distress about the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government.
