The shiv Sena-BJP passed an order yesterday stating a ban on sale and slaughter of meat in Mumbai for four days i.e. 10th, 13th, 17th and 18th of September, 2015. Whereas, in other places of Mumbai like the Mira road and Bhayander the ban will be observed for double the days that is 8 days.
BJP however, insisted that it was ‘not a ban’ but a mere tolerant behaviour towards the jains for the sake and in the goodwill of “Secularism.”
Meanwhile, Twitter has gone crazy right after the news of the meat ban struck ears! Various celebrities and common people have expressed their views on Meatban alike!

Respecting sentiments of one religious community doesn't mean snatching away other communities' freedom (to eat what they want to) #meatban
