Royal Challengers Bengaluru beat Gujarat Lions in the 20th match of IPL season 10. At one point in the match, Gujarat needed 47 runs off 12 balls. At that crucial moment, 18 years old, Ishan Kishan hit 2 sixes. During his striking batting phase, the moment when he missed a bouncer by mistake, Bengaluru’s captain Virat Kohli made fun of him as well as abused him.

However, on the next ball, Ishan hit a sixer again and gave a perfect reply to Virat’s abusive jibe. Actually, what happened was, Gujarat Lions was only 47 runs behind to win the match. In the previous spell, Ishan and Andrew Tye made 18 runs off 6 balls. The match was at its interesting turn. On the first ball of 19th over, Virat missed the easy catch of Ishan which turned into a boundary later. The next ball was wide and the third ball went missed. On the fourth ball, Ishan hit 4 runs, the 5th ball was a slow bouncer which he again missed. And on this ball, Virat took an abusive jibe on him. However, Ishan gave him a perfect answer with his bat and hit a sixer again on the last ball of the over.

Ishan made 39 runs off 16 balls during his innings which include 2 fours and 4 sixes. This is also his best score in IPL so far.
