How many of us have tried to wake up early and get our work finished before the dreadful deadline? I know for a fact that a major proportion of us have failed to do so.We set up an alarm and still we find it incredibly hard to get out of bed in the mornings. Here are some tips that will not only help us waking up early but use those golden hours for something productive!
GET MORE SLEEP
Duh right? If you have wake up early then you have sleep early. For example, if you want to wake up at 545 AM then you should be in bed by 945 PM. Around 7 to 8 hours of sleep are required for better memory, metabolism and overall productivity. So I guess goodbye to those late night TV you’ve been watching.
NO SCREENS IN BEDROOM
Lets be honest , How many of us are there whose moms told us the same thing? We have the urgent need to check our social networking sites immediately before we sleep but it makes all the more difficult for our brain to transition to sleep. So if you absolutely have to use your devices just keep the usage as less as possible with the brightness at dimmest setting.
GET UP AT SAME TIME EVERYDAY
This one is basic . If you want to wake up early, establish a pattern and stick to it!
GET MOVING AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE
The moment your alarm sounds you should get out of bed and get moving.Make yourself a nice cup of Tea or coffee , take a bath and plan your day in advance. The more you linger on in bed , sleep will make it harder for you to get up.
EXPOSE YOURSELF TO NATURAL LIGHT
It is very important that when you wake up you expose yourself to light. This will help convincing your body that it’s time to rise and shine!
WORK OUT IN THE MORNING
You are probably rolling your eyes at me.But this is actually important. Some might prefer Yoga other might like gym more.Working out will help your body to get rid of toxins and it will make you feel less stressed and more happy! It will also keep you motivated to push through.
Life is hectic But when you start making time for yourself in the morning it will definitely improve your life.
