Laxmi Aggarwal: At the age of 15, her world shattered when a 32-year old man threw acid on her because she had rejected his advances. A lot has changed after that. She is now a social activist who works for the cause of acid-attack victims. She has won multiple awards for her work. She also hosts a TV show. Laxmi is courage personified. She has proved that nothing is stronger than a woman.

Arunima Sinha: This brave-heart is the first Indian amputee to climb the Mount Everest. She used to be a volleyball player but then a tragedy hit her. She was thrown off a moving train by thugs on refusing to give them her chain and belongings. She lost her legs in the incident but not her courage. Then she decided that she will climb Mount Everest, and with hard work and dedication she achieved it. She’s been awarded Padma Shri.

She started a small tailoring business and today she is CEO of Kamani Tubes. She proved that a strong-willed woman can achieve anything with her determination.

Irom Chanu Sharmila: She is also known as ‘Iron Lady of Manipur’, she’s on a hunger strike against the innocent killing of civilians by army men since 2000. Truly an iron lady!
