As per a report by Khaam Press, in Afghanistan an exceeding rate of 2.5 million girls have been kept devoid of education.
This was stated by US Special envoy for Afghan women, girls and human rights Rina Amiri who highlighted the dire status of women in the war inflicted zone.
The US Special envoy issued concerns on Friday over girls’ education during the Human Rights Council meeting.
Amiri averred, “Every single girl deserves to access quality education,” according to Khaama Press.
Taliban have repressed women and girls from secondary institutions. Women are also not allowed to work for UN agencies or seek international aid.
Taliban leaders have given ultimatum to other nations to not indulge in Afghan politics.
It have disregarded all international calls for women and girls in alignment to their availability for education and work opportunities.
