Around 2 of over 20 people from Kerala who were induced in the ISIS are killed in US’s MOAB attack on Afghanistan’s Nangarhar late on Thursday. The United States dropped a massive GBU-43 bomb, the largest non-nuclear bomb in eastern Afghanistan on the series of caves used by ISIS militants.
The US military headquarters in Kabul said in a statement that the bomb was dropped at 7:32 p.m. local time. US President Donald Trump said: “Really another successful event, we are very, very proud of our military. We have given the military the total authorization, and frankly, that’s why they have been so successful.”
He further added: “If you look at what happened over the last 8 weeks and compare it with what happened over the last eight years, you will see there is a tremendous difference. We have incredible leaders in the military and we are very proud of them.”
“North Korea is a problem and the problem will be taken care of. I think China has been really working hard on this. Spent a lot of time with the Chinese president, he is a really special man. I think he is going to try hard.”
