Back in 2011 when Tsunami hit Japan a college student named Yuka Kudo traveled to Ishinomaki – a town where 6,000 people died and asked cab drivers if they had had any unusual experiences after the disaster. Many of them ignored her but seven cab drivers talked of picking up ghost passengers, and their accounts were eerily similar. Those drivers claimed that the ghosts (who looked like normal people) would get into their cabs and give their destination, only to disappear without paying the fare.
One of those ghost passengers, one asked the driver to take her to a district that had been shattered by the Tsunami. When he told her what it was like there, she asked, “Have I died?” When he turned around to look at her, she was gone.
2) The Haunting of the Stanley Hotel, USA
The Stanely Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado, USA is arguably a most haunted place in the USA. It was built in 1909 by Freelan O. Stanley. While staff and guests at the hotel have reported paranormal activities for decades, the hotel came into center focus author Stephen King went to stay there for a time and reportedly had his own scary ghostly experience. He noticed a mysterious figure on the hotel’s stairs.
Among the reported ghost sightings:
– The staff of the hotel has reported hearing the loud sounds like some party is going on in the main ballroom. But when they investigate, the rooms are empty.
– Some of the people who stayed in the hotel claimed to have seen ghosts standing at the end of their beds in the middle of the night.
– Patrons claim to have seen the ghost of Freelan Stanley’s wife, who was a piano player, performing on the piano in the lobby.
3) Baba Harbhajan Singh, an Indian Army soldier, who died in 1986, India
This is a ghost story so close to my heart! The one and only ghost story who doesn’t scare anyone. It shows when it comes to serving your nation, the soldiers never actually die. Baba Harbhajan Singh, an Indian Army soldier, who died in 1986 is believed to still be guarding frontiers at the borders. He was born in Punjab 1941 and enrolled in Indian Army in 1956. In the year 1967, near Nathu-La pass, that Singh met his end. His body was recovered after three days and cremated with due honors. But did he really die? Even today, jawans posted at the Nathu-La post firmly believe that Singh’s ghost protects them.
