For the pran pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla, representatives from 50 countries—including Muslim countries—will be invited by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The myth that only followers of Sanatan Dharma will be invited to Ram Lalla’s consecration ceremony has been debunked by the Trust.
In New Delhi, senior leaders of the VHP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) are finalizing the list of international guests who will be invited to the consecration ceremony.
“Representatives of 50 countries will be invited for the pran pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla. The RSS will send invites through its office in these countries,” averred Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
“Do not be surprised if you see a representative from Dubai, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries at the pran pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla,” added Rai.
“We want to make sure that representatives from 50 countries attend the event and not from America, Australia and UK alone,” emphasised Rai.
According to Rai, in addition to VVIPs, additional invitees on the Trust’s priority list included relatives of karsevaks who lost their lives in the Ram Mandir movement and attorneys who had defended the Hindu side in the protracted legal dispute that lasted from the district court in Ayodhya (then known as Faizabad) to the Supreme Court.
Seven thousand persons, three thousand of them are VVIPs, will get invitations from the trust to the Ram Mandir opening ceremony.
The Trust announced that the final guest list for the great Ram Temple in Ayodhya will include notable figures from the political, business, sports, media, and film industries as well as well-known seers from throughout the nation.
The temple foundation announced in a statement that the ceremony will feature special visitors, all four Shankaracharyas, who are the leaders of the four major Hindu monasteries.
“Invitations are also being sent to other saints, religious leaders, former civil servants, ex-Army officers, lawyers and musicians,” it further added.
The main guest of the occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will carry out the ceremonies at the Ram Temple’s sanctum sanctorum at approximately 12:15 p.m. as part of the pran pratishtha (consecration) ceremony.
