The situation worsened on Monday without coordination between the Mumbai Police and Bihar Police over the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case. When Bihar Director General of Police (DGP) Gupteshwar Pandey questioned the Mumbai Police, why did they not investigate the money trail in the suicide of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput?
Talking to the media, DGP Gupteshwar Pandey said that in the last four years, about 50 crore rupees were deposited in Sushant Singh Rajput’s bank account. But the surprising thing is that they were all removed. One year, Rs 17 crore was deposited in his account, out of which Rs 15 crore was withdrawn. Is this not an important point that is not being investigated? We are not going to sit silent. We will question them (Mumbai Police) why such clues are suppressed.
Earlier on Sunday, the Bihar Police chief reacted strongly when his subordinate SP rank officer Vinay Tiwari was quarantined by the Mumbai BMC. Then he had said, ‘Instead of sharing evidence or submitting postmortem-forensic report of Sushant, Mumbai police is almost engaged in arresting our SP. I have not seen such non-cooperation by any other state police. If the Mumbai Police is honest in their approach. So they should share the investigation with us. ‘
