Chloe Bridgewater, a 7-year-old UK resident wrote an adorable letter Google CEO Sundar Pichai with without any potential of a reply. However, she was in a lovely surprise when Google CEO himself wrote her a reply with strong words of encouragement. Mr. Pichai told Chloe to ‘keep working hard and follow her dreams’ and should officially apply to Google when she’s finished with school.
Here is Chloe’s letter, shared to Business Insider by her father, Andy:
Captivated by tablet and robots, and entirely taken by the idea of working somewhere with bean bag chairs and slides, 7-year-old Chloe decided to write a letter to Google for a job.
Chloe’s fascination with Google began recently, she told her dad she wanted to work at Google someday and her dad motivated her to start early. He told her to write a job application and she did, in her won cheery way.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai responded to Chloe’s letter and said that he hoped that she would continue to work and follow her dreams. “Thank you so much for your letter. I’m glad that you like robots and computers, and hope that you will continue to learn about technology. I think that if you keep working hard and following your dreams, you can accomplish everything that you set your mind to – from working at Google to swimming in the Olympics. I look forward to receiving your job application when you are finished with school. All the best to you and your family,” Mr. Pichai wrote in his reply.
Chloe’s father Andy shared Pichai response on Linkedln and said, “”it’s a much-needed confidence booster for Chloe, who was knocked down by a car years ago.” He said that he would motivate Chloe to develop her skills and studies in order to fulfill her dream of working at Google.
