So what’s the reality
There is actually a scientific reason behind this. According to Mark Sirois of Southern Quebec “The forest floor is all moss-covered, which leaves a lot of the root system of younger trees lodged in a loose medium. As the wind sways, we see the roots of the trees lifting the floor. This gives the appearance of ‘breathing.” And overall it’s a natural phenomenon with no special effects.
