Mother And Daughter: A Story Of An Incestuous Relationship
In August 2016, a child welfare investigator found that mother and her daughter who were living in Duncan, Oklahoma, may have been having an incestuous relationship. Misty was raised by her grandmother after her 44-year-old mother lost custody of her three kids. Patricia had no contact with any of her children until about two years ago when she and Misty Spann reunited.
Investigators found that Misty Spann’s original birth certificate lists Patricia Spann as her birth mother and Patricia used another name (Patricia Ann Clayton) on various documents including a marriage certificate.
