A petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court by Delhi based social worker named Rakesh seeking the removal of his voice from the caller tune on coronavirus, according to him the Bollywood superstar himself does not have a clean record. As he himself, along with his family members, had been infected by the virus earlier. He said the government engaged Mr. Bachchan to spread awareness among the people while talking about preventive measures to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. But the fact is that he himself as well as other members of his family could not escape it.
Let us tell you that Delhi’s social working further claimed that several matters are pending against him in various courts. He is neither having a clean history nor he is serving the nation as a social worker. And that’s the reason why he filed a petition in the court.
The plea was filed through advocates A.K. Dubey and Pawan Kumar. Which states “The government of India has been paying fees to Amitabh Bachchan for chanting such preventive measures on the caller ringtone,”. It further states “There are some corona warriors who have been doing great service to the nation and helping poor and needy people in their needy times as well as providing them food, cloth, and shelter, and it is very indispensable to mention herein that some corona warriors have distributed their hard earnings among the poor and needy people,”
The plea came up for hearing on January 7. Which was before a Bench of Chief Justice D.N. Patel and Justice Jyoti Singh. But the bench has now listed the matter for January 18. According to the information the petitioner made representation to the authorities in November 2020. However, there was no reply. Therefore, he later approached the court with his grievance.
