Noisy neighbours loudly having sex can be disturbing for more than one reason, apparently. Apart from the increased decibels, there’s a chance one could also be left feeling sad about one’s own lack of activity over the sheets. That’s one of the reasons a student gave to her dorm room neighbour, asking her to ‘have sex a little more quietly.’
Jenna Levine from Syracuse University has Twitter LOL-ing after she posted this hilarious note addressed to her noisy neighbour :
Here’s what the note read :
Please have sex a little more quietly please. Some of us are trying to nap & not being reminded how alone I am…. feel free to make all the love you want. Just please, make it nasty @ a lower volume. Thank you !
“Just please, make it nasty at a lower volume” – we cannot help repeat this line. This is the best part for me.
“College is weird,” she said in her tweet that’s now gone viral. Indeed it is.
The loud sex had been bothering Ms Levine for a while, apparently :
I have to listen to my neighbors having sex so now they have to listen to me parody pop hits to be about my dogs

I would like to thank Rudy and Amos for all their unconditional love and the SU housing system for placing me next to a loud lover

Her polite request not only fetched her an apology, she also got some chocolate from her neighbour to make up.
Here’s what the reply note she got :
I’m so so incredibly sorry about that. I did’nt realise how loud I was being, and ya know, sometimes having loud sex is low key kinda hot but obviously at your cost, which I apologize so sincerely for. I’m so so sorry, I hope this hasn’t occured too often. And thanks so much for the incredible and hilarious card. I will for surely try to make it nasty at a significantly lower level. Hey and don’t worry, you’re not alone forever. The right person will come along when the time comes. I was single for 18 years.
Haha..once again I apologise so sincerely and deeply.
Sorry, Room 338.
Since October 31, the tweet has received over 48,000 retweets and 1.2 lakh ‘likes’.
All’s well that ends well. Ms Levine got an apology, chocolate and viral fame and Twitter got to enjoy a very entertaining conversation.
