Aamir Khan recently made a tweet, writing ‘Michhami Dukkadam’ on twitter. By this he apologized to people whom he hurt knowingly or unknowingly this year so far. For a past few years, Aamir Khan apologizes to people every year at the end of Paryushan festival. It is a festival celebrated by the Jain people every year.
Some of his fans appreciated him for doing so whereas the others trolled him for his film ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ that released in 2018. They asked him not to repeat the mistake of doing such a disastrous film ever.

What does Michhami Dukkadam mean?
It is a festival associated with Jainism. It is the main festival of the Jain people, also known as ‘Daslakshan Parv’. This lasts for a few days. The last day of the festival is celebrated as ‘Kashmapna Diwas’. During this day, people apologizes to each other for hurting people or doing mistakes in the last year by saying ‘Michhami Dukkadam’ or ‘Uttam Kashma’.
