Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyaan co-starring Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. The actor who was away from the buzz for a while is all set to make a comeback on the big screen with ‘The Big Bull’.
A new still from the much-anticipated film ‘The Big Bull’ came out today. Supporting a mustache and a pair of glasses and many rings on his fingers. The makers unveiled the first look poster of the movie today. Abhishek shared the poster and wrote, “The Big Bull! The man who sold dreams to India.”The movie is based on the life of Indian stockbroker Harshad Mehta and his financial crimes. (India’s biggest securities scams), which took place between 1990 and 2000 that changed the country’s financial framework. Directed by Kookie Gulati The movie will feature Abhishek Bachchan and Ileana D’Cruz in lead roles.
The actor took to his Instagram handle to share the first glimpse, “The Big Bull! @ajaydevgn @Ileana_Official @s0humshah @nikifyinglife @anandpandit63 @kookievgulati @KumarMangat @ADFFilms #TheBigBull”, he wrote. The overall feel of the poster is such that one sense Abhishek playing the role of Harshad Mehta. The film is produced by Ajay Devgn, Anand Pandit and co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Vikrant Sharma which is excepted to be released in October 2020.
Speaking about his work front Abhishek Bachchan has some interesting projects lined up next which include Shah Rukh Khan’s co-production, In this film, he will play the role of Bob Biswas a contract killer. Abhishek will also be seen in crime anthology, directed by Anurag Basu. There were rumors that Abhishek is likely to essay the role of Sahir Ludhianvi in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s biopic on the legendary Urdu poet-lyricist of Bollywood, but there is no official announcement to that yet. It looks like Abhishek after making a comeback is choosing the scripts very carefully, as the premise of the films he had chosen seems interesting.
