Remarkable actor Shreyas Talpade, 47, collapsed during shoot on Thursday night in Mumbai after suffering a heart attack. The actor had to be taken to the Bellevue Hospital in Andheri West for angioplasty.

A source who asked to remain anonymous claimed that Talpade was shooting all day for the multi-starrer picture Welcome to the Jungle, which is still in the early stages of production. “He shot through the day, was absolutely fine and joking around with everyone on the set. He even shot sequences that had a bit of action. After finishing the shoot, he went back home and told his wife that he was feeling uneasy. She rushed him to the hospital but he collapsed on the way,” mentioned the source. The hospital verified, “Shreyas Talpade is admitted. He was brought late in the evening. His health update is awaited.”
Talpade’s work in Hindi and Marathi movies has garnered him a great deal of praise from critics as well as viewers. Over a two-decade career, Talpade has acted in more than 45 movies.
