The wonder women actress Gal Gadot will soon be seen in historical drama based on the life of famous Egyptian queen Cleopatra.
Actress Gal Gadot who has earlier worked in the superhit superhero film ‘Wonder Woman’, with Jenkins will now be seen in the upcoming sequel, ‘Wonder Woman 1984’. Patty Jenkins will also collaborate with her for the next project Cleopatra. Which is expected to be released on Christmas day.
Announcing about the project she quoted “As you might have heard, I teamed up with Patty Jenkins and Leata Kalogridis to bring the story of Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt, to the big screen in a way she`s never been seen before. To tell her story for the first time through women`s eyes, both behind and in front of the camera…We hope women and girls all around the world, who aspire to tell stories will never give up on their dreams and will make their voices heard, by and for other women,”
Earlier Elizabeth Taylor played the role of Cleopatra in the 1963 film of the same name. The film won four Oscars, including Best Picture. And now Gal will be seen playing this role and we are curious to see how she fit herself into this role.
