Actress Payal Rohatgi landed in trouble after she got arrested by the Ahemdabad police. Read to know why she got arrested.
Actress Payal Rohatgi grabbed attention after she got arrested by the Ahmedabad city police on 25th June. An FIR was filed against her on Thursday and the very next day on Friday she got arrested. As per, the reports she got arrested for threatening the residents of her housing society, not only this, but she threatened the children of the society saying that if they play in the common area she would ‘break their legs’. Now a case has been registered against her by society chairman Dr. Parag Shah inspector AS Roy of Satellite police station. The inspector said that she was charged for uttering obscene words (IPC section 294-b), intentional insult (504), and criminal intimidation (506).
Earlier, she got arrested in 2019, when she posted objectionable content on social media against the Nehru-Gandhi family. However, she got released later on. After which she said in an interview, “Thank you, everybody, for getting me out. I was very scared in jail, but now I am very happy. I have been politically victimized,” Talking about her experience in Bundi jail, she further stated “I spent a sleepless night, and it was very cold. We slept on the floor on a mattress. It was my first experience in jail and I hope it to be the last.”
Recently she also posted a video of herself worshipping Lord Shiva. And captioning the video she wrote “I know I am being used to fulfil an agenda by certain people who themselves don’t want to do the dirty work, but I am going with the flow even though I know I am being trapped as God has a plan for me which none of these powerful people can even touch. Om Namah Shivay (sic),”
