Shilpa Shetty’s younger sister and Bollywood actress Shamita Shetty is in news for all wrong reasons. The actress was allegedly verbally abused by 3 men in a road rage incident. They also beaten up her driver. The incident happened near Thane, Mumbai.
The incident took place in the afternoon at near about 1:30 pm on January 30. While Shamita was travelling in her car with her driver a biker who was accompanied by two of his friends, rammed into her car.
After the incident, the actress took no time to register a complaint against the culprits. She filed an FIR at Rabodi Police Station. According to the report, the three men are yet to be identified and the details of their vehicles have been provided by Shamita’s driver, Darshan Sawant, to the police. Shamita’s driver Darshan Sawant was slapped and threatened by the three men.
A case has been registered under sections 279, 323, 504, 506, 427 and 34 of the Indian Penal code. Shamita Shetty is a well-known face of the Bollywood industry. She has also worked in TV reality shows. Presently she can be seen taking part in the Khataron Ke Khiladi season 9.
