This created a ruckus on the Twitter and the Modi supporters criticized the comedian-actor. Now, in the recent episode of The Kapil Sharma show, the starcast of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga had appeared including Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Sonam Kapoor. However, actor Rajkummar Rao came in between the show following his meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rajkummar Rao came along with actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar and others to meet Narendra Modi in Delhi.

After Rajkummar joined the show TKSS in the mid, Kapil began to ask him about his meeting with the PM and candidly asked if Modi had asked about him in his chat with Rajkummar. To which he replied, the Indian PM is upset with the comedian, making a reference to the 2016 tweet.

This made Kapil embarrassed about the incident and he soon apologised to the Indian Prime Minister on the TV for his behaviour.
