A minor car collision between two vehicles led to a heated scuffle near Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow on Juhu Tara Road on March 26. This all happened when a BEST bus collided with the luxury car that belonged to actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The collision reports indicate that the bouncer working for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan allegedly slapped the bus driver, sparking further chaos.
What Exactly Happened?
According to reports, luxury car MH02-GG-5050 was involved in a minor collision with BEST bus number 8021 on route 231 as the bus departed from the Juhu depot. The bus driver stopped his vehicle to inspect any potential damage. A bouncer linked to Aishwarya unexpectedly encountered the driver and gave him an unlawful slap. The bus driver immediately reached out to 100 emergency services to notify police of the situation. The arriving police officers sought to settle the dispute. The supervisor, alongside the bungalow staff, appeared to apologize for the behavior of their bouncer. The bus driver received the apology from the bungalow staff and chose to drop the charges and move forward with his journey toward Santacruz Station. Despite the involvement of her car, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was not inside the vehicle at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported, and the accident was not serious.
Viral Video Shows the Incident
The incident was captured on the internet through video footage which displayed a red BEST bus striking a luxury car during the collision. Aishwarya’s staff members left their position in the video to check the accident scene. Footage showed no appearance of the actress although the accident played out. Officials determined that the damaged vehicle carried the number plate assigned to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
What Do the Authorities Say?
So far all themembers of the Bachchan family along with Aishwarya Rai have refrained from making any public statements about the incident. A Juhu police officer declared the situation became violent because the bus driver kept sounding his horn. The unexpected argument between the bouncer and Aishwarya’s driving staff further prolonged the dispute until another staff member joined. Despite the media frenzy surrounding this incident, both parties resolved their issues amicably.
