There are reports that Ajay Devgan’s film set ” Maidan”, had to face a huge loss due to the lockdown. The film was supposed to release this year in December but due to the global issue, the film sets faced a huge loss. It has been informed that the shooting of the film began before the lockdown. But it was interrupted because of the problem that arose due to the epidemic. Since the directors were not prepared for sudden lockdown the shooting was stopped.

The film is directed by Amit Ravindra Nath Sharma, who previously gave many superhits films before. And the producer of the film is Boney Kapoor. It is said that the film was to be shot at different locations. Also, it was supposed to be released in other languages like Tamil Telegu and Malayalam. according to the reports, the filmmakers made a big set to shoot the scene of the football. And the owner already paid 2 months rent in advance. The shooting of the film was going to start on 21st March But in the middle, everything got stopped. It is also being told that the Makeuproom, Toilet, PCR was made in this set but due to the pause in between, the makers are facing heavy loss.
It is said that the story is based on the life and struggles of Syed Ahmed Rahim who was the coach and manager of the Indian Football team in 1950. And Ajay Devgan was all set to portray his role.
