The first line of reviews by critics of the classic sequel of Avatar The Way of Water have gathered glowing remarks, among which Akshay Kumar have also joined the league of critics who have praised the much awaited sequel. On Tuesday the star watched the film in a special screening with other actors in Mumbai. On Wednesday, the actor took to the Twitter to shower his words of praise for filmmaker James Cameron.

Akshay wrote in Twitter, “Watched #AvatarTheWayOfWater last night and Oh boy!! MAGNIFICENT is the word. Am still spellbound.” The actor tagged the film’s director James Cameron in the tweet and praised him. “Want to bow down before your genius craft, @JimCameron. Live on,” his tweet read.

Avatar: The Way of Water is the sequel to Avatar in 2009 which emerged as the highest-grossing film of all time. The sequel is the second of the five planned films of the franchise and is estimated to gather $525 million in its opening weekend.

A review by Hindustan Times read, “Much has been said over the last few years of the slow death of the theatrical experience. Avatar: The Way Of Water is a stunning spectacle that is mounted by a passionate filmmaker who knows exactly how to mould action and emotion together for an enjoyable time at the movies.”

The sequel features Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver and introducing Kate Winslet in the sequel. The film is set to hit the theaters on December 16 channelized over 52,000 screens.
