Akshay Kumar who is now attending the Red Sea International Film Festival has revealed that his next film will be based on sex education and the dire need for its implementation. He said that he was associated with a production who are intending to work on this topic or which he is a part too.
The actor said this in an in-panel interview. The event was graced by Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Priyanka Chopra, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan. While Ranbir Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan is yet to stop by the Jedah.
While speaking to Kaleem Aftab, Akshay mentioned in the magazine Deadline that, “It’s a very important subject. In a lot of places, it is not there. We have all kinds of subjects we learn in school and sex education is one topic I would like all the schools in the world to have. It’s going to take time to release, it’s going to be April [or] May.” He also added, “It’s one of the best films I’ve ever made.”
“I like to do these sorts of films, social films. It’s not that big a commercial success film but it gives me satisfaction,” the actor averred. Akshay has also worked in films holding social responsibility like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017) and Padman (2018).
