‘Bharat’ has an intriguing relation to Akshay Kumar’s next movie, which he is bringing out. On Wednesday, the actor released the motion poster for Mission Raniganj, but the internet quickly discovered a few changed allusions to “Bharat” in his Instagram post.
The Great Indian Rescue was the working title for Mission Raniganj. The internet couldn’t help but note how the preliminary title made it to the poster just below the final title, but with an odd tweak, when Akshay unveiled the movie’s official title along with the motion poster on Wednesday.
The Great Bharat Rescue took the place of “The Great Indian Rescue.” This move occurs at a time when the nation is discussing whether or not to formally rename India as Bharat.
Not only this, but an Instagram user noted that Akshay had initially written in the post, “Watch the story of India’s true hero…” It was later corrected to “Bharat’s true hero.” The comment said, “Great Indian rescue ko toh Great Bharat Rescue kar diya par caption mein phir bhi *India’s* likh diya (He changed Great Indian Rescue to Great Bharat Rescue but the caption still says ‘India’s’).” The user thereafter add, “haha kiya change abhi (haha he changed it just now).”
Another added, “Yaha bhi Bharat (Bharat here as well) (thinking emoji).” Another added, “Sir Chandrayan 3 pe movie kab a rhaa hai (Sir when is the movie on Chandrayaan 3 coming).”
When President Draupadi Murmu sent formal dinner invitations to heads of state and chief ministers during the G20 Summit in New Delhi, the term “India” was changed to “Bharat,” which sparked a controversy.
