The 2024 Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Limited Series went to American stand-up comedian, actress, writer, producer, and director Ali Wong. She won the award for her portrayal of Amy Lau in the Netflix series Beef.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that Wong won the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television, making history as the first Asian American woman to do so since the category’s inception in 1982. In the popular six-season series BoJack Horseman, which won multiple awards and was well-liked by viewers and fans, Ali Wong portrayed Maddy Ginsburg. Maddy Ginsburg, played by Wong, is a careless teenage girl who unintentionally becomes a victim of BoJack’s well-intentioned carelessness. Netflix offers streaming access to the show.
Love, Victor
