Actress Alia Bhatt began the week on a happy note by sharing some great news, that she is expecting her first baby with actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor, and her mom Soni Razdan is overpowered with emotions.
Razdan is happy that Bhatt is beginning a new chapter in her life, and has sent loads of good wishes to her. “We are overjoyed and overwhelmed. Words really don’t do justice to this moment,” she told hindustantimes.com.
“I am just so so happy for Ranbir and Alia and for all of us. There is nothing greater or more profound in this world than bringing another life into it,” she added.
On Monday, Alia posted a pic on her Instagram account of the couple from the hospital, and wrote, “Our baby ….. coming soon”. She also posted a pic featuring a lion and lioness with their cub.
Aactress Priyanka Chopra Jonas wrote, “Congratulations honey! Yaaay! Can’t wait”, Director Karan Johar posted, “My heart is bursting”. Ranbir’s sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also reacted to the post, commenting heart emojis.
Currently, Alia is busy filming for her debut Hollywood project, Heart of Stone, co-featuring Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan, in the mean time Ranbir is occupied with promotion work for his forthcoming release, Brahmastra.
