In the comedy chat show The Kapil Sharma Show, recently the team of film Batla House made an appearance. John Abraham, Mrunal Thakur and Ravi Kishan spilled beans about their personal life. Ravi Kishan revealed how he lost Gangs of Wasseypur due to a rumour which was a false one. He said he always regret losing out the film as Anurag Kashyap didn’t give him chance believing that false rumour about him was true!
What was that rumour?
Ravi Kishan revealed that it is a rumour around the walls of the entertainment industry that he is an actor who shows tantrums on the film set and behaves like a king. When Anurag came to know about this false rumour he missed out the thought of casting him in the film Gangs of Wasseypur. After it, Ravi Kishan cleared the air about the rumour to Anurag Kashyap he then cast him in the film Mukkabaaz.
He further says, “Anurag wanted to cast me for Gangs of Wasseypur, but he did not approach me because of this rumour. He had a bad image of me in his mind. I regret it because I could not be a part of a great film.”
About appearing on the show The Kapil Sharma Show, The actor said, “Recently I was elected as a Member of Parliament and I was busy campaigning on-ground. So the last few months have been busy and tiring. Today after so many months I have got a chance to laugh.”
