Ameesha Patel: She Failed To Handle Stardom, Mother Threw Her Out From House

Ameesha Patel is counted in the list of those actresses who started their career in Bollywood with superhit films. Today Ameesha is celebrating her 41st birthday. Hailing from a Gujarati family Ameesha started her career in Bollywood with superhit film of the year 2000, Kaho Na Pyar Hai. Her second film in line, Gadar was a super-duper hit. People speculated that she is going to stay long in the Bollywood with a massively successful career.

For this film, she was nominated for the Filmfare Best Actress Award in 2001. In 2002, she did a film with Bobby Deol and Akshay Khanna named Humraaz. It was her hattrick of giving superhit films consecutively thrice. Even after having a massively successful debut in the Bollywood what let her career fall?

Call it fate or what but she suffered a downfall she never expected. Now, Ameesha appears in very few movies with some side or supporting roles. However, she is planning to make a debut in Bollywood again but she is unable to find the right platform. Nobody is ready to cast her in the lead roles.

She also did a film with Aamir Khan named Mangal Pandey. This film went flop at the box office. She featured in many hit films like Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Race 2 but they all were multi-starrer movies.

Talking about her personal life, she got separated from her parents due to property issues. Ameesha accused her father for misusing her money she earned from her films. She even said once in the media that her mother beat her and threw her out of the house.
