A simple question that should be asked: who are the State sponsors of Al-Qaeda and ISIS?
The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and Al-Qaeda were made in the America, for a purpose to divide and conquer the oil-rich Middle East and to counter Iran’s growing influence in the region.
The CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) first gave support to Extreme Islam during the cold war. America used militant political Islam in the war against the Soviet Union because at that time America saw the world in rather simple two sides (one side was the Soviet Union and on other was Western allies).
The US also supported the Jamaat-e-Islami terror group against Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in Pakistan and Sarekat Islam against Sukarno in Indonesia. The CIA gave birth to Osama Bin Laden and breastfeed his organization in the 1980s. Former British Foreign Secretary, Robin Cook, revealed that Al Qaeda (means an abbreviation of “the database” in Arabic) was basically the computer database of the thousands of Islamists terrorists, who were funded by the Saudis, and trained by CIA.
The Islamic State is the latest weapon of the US. In 2003, America invaded Iraq which finally gave birth to rigorous Sunni groups like ISIS. Saddam Hussein’s secular administration was replaced by a radical Shite regime (backed by US) which caused loss of hundreds of thousands of Sunni’s working class jobs.
The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) earlier have a different name in Iraq (Al Qaeda) In 2010, group entered into Syria and focused its present there. Basically, US Middle East policy revolves around Israel and Oil. The ongoing airstrikes in Syria and sanctions on Iran have everything to do with Israel and invasion of Iraq has given oil to the US.
From 2001, the so-called “War on Terror” has cost 6.6 trillion dollars to the American taxpayers.
American policies in the Middle East is the cancer.
