The US government, through its ‘American Agency for International Development (USAID)‘, has announced the additional US $3 million in aid to India to fight the coronavirus epidemic.

Earlier on 6 April, USAID announced a grant of $2.9 million in the fight against the coronavirus. US Ambassador to India Kenneth Juster said that this additional aid would help India in the war against COVID-19 and is another important example of a partnership between India and the US.
