Don’t be fooled by the soundtrack. If the song Mr. Sandman was once hummed by The Chordettes, the female quartet has been replaced by horrific wax dolls in the trailer for the next season of A American Horror Stories (not to be confused with its big sister American Horror Story ). The teaser, therefore, makes us visit this house where the dolls do not really make you want to play with them but rather to run away. The visit takes us through different rooms, each of which gives off an atmosphere of its own and seems to give clues to the subjects covered in the episodes to come. A creepy and mysterious taste as the series returns on Disney+ on July 21 for the second season of which we know very little.
American Horror Stories: what is it?
The little sister of American Horror Story (AHS), American Horror Stories was born on September 8, 2021. This new anthology fiction, also created by Ryan Murphy, focuses on different horror stories in each episode. It retains the same vibe, tension, and humor as the anthology series. Broadcast on Disney+, the first season was divided into seven chilling chapters, which still take place in the famous Murder House.
American Horror Stories: What is the connection with American Horror Story?
There are indeed several connections between AHS and its little sister American Horror Stories, such as the Murder House, similar plots, or even familiar faces. Regular cast members from the original series appear in the spin-off as well. You will be able to find Billie Lourd, Cody Fern, Matt Bomer, or even Dylan McDermott. While most comedians portray new characters, some have reprised their roles like Dylan McDermott. He appeared briefly as the furious, disheveled ghost of Dr. Harmon. It is also found in the first two episodes of American Horror Stories.
