BTS’s golden maknae, Jungkook, has garnered massive records with his solo superhit song, ‘Seven.’ The track in just 2.5 hours has been already heard across 100 countries.
However there is a controversy which have sparked amongst fans in terms of song credits to be given solely to the singer for making a remarkable solo debut.
The music company behind management of BTS, Hybe, has witnessed criticism from ARMY for mentioning ‘BTS’ with Jungkook and Latto as the vocal artists of ‘Seven.’ Twitter is now brimming with tags like BIGHIT RESPECT JUNGKOOK, REMOVE BTS TAG, and UNTAG BTS FROM SEVEN with over 50,000 tweets and counting.
The ARMY states that “Bighit can’t respect their artist even in his long-awaited solo debut. This is not a BTS song; this is JEON JUNGKOOK SONG.”
The issue is accurate credits beyond Spotify. Some traced that his name is not being mentioned in the description which also raises concern over the decline in his ranking on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
In response to the plead and outrage, BigHit Music has assured that the singer’s name has been rightly registered in the YouTube platform. Thus there will be no prevailing concerns in terms of YouTube data count.
