Amit Shah’s Assets Increased 300% In 5 Years, Times Of India And The Economic Times Articles On This Disappear From Paper’s Website

On Saturday, major news publications including Times of India (Ahmedabad edition) and The Economic Times carried out articles on how the income of BJP’s Amit Shah had experienced an exceptional jump of 300 percent in the last five years. However, within hours of being published, the story was removed from the paper’s website.

According to the South Live, Amit Shah’s movable assets increased from Rs 1.90 crore in 2012 to Rs 19 crore in 2017. His immovable assets were worth Rs 6.63 crore in 2012 but are now worth Rs 15.30 crore.

No Explanation Has Been Given From The Media Houses

Interestingly, no explanation has been given from the media houses and also no editor or journalist is willing to take responsibility for this.

Smriti Irani Has Not Yet Completed Her Bachelor Of Commerce Course

The same report also stated that Union Information and Broadcasting and Textiles minister Smriti Irani has cleared in her election affidavit that she has not yet completed her Bachelor of Commerce course.

Smriti Irani, in her 2014 affidavit for the Lok Sabha election, when she fought against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi at Amethi, had claimed that she had a BCom Part I from School of Correspondence, the University of Delhi in 1994.

Also, in 2011, she had made the same entry in her affidavit for election to the Rajya Sabha. Interestingly, when she fought Lok Sabha election from Chandni Chowk in New Delhi in 2004, she had entered, under the education qualifications column BA. 1996. Delhi University. School of Correspondence.
