Ye kya keh gaye, Amit Shah?? Yes, BJP president Amit Shah said, Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi was clear that Congress party had no ideology and was not built on any principle and also lacked to run the country or government. The BJP president who is currently on his 3-day visit to Chattisgarh made this comment on Mahatma Gandhi when he was in an event where a number of “eminent persons” of the state were present.
Shah commented that Gandhiji was a “bahut chatur baniya,” who knew that Congress had a dark future as a party in politics as it was merely a “special purpose vehicle” to secure freedom. he actually said,
“The Congress is not a party based on one ideology or one principle, it is [sic] a special purpose vehicle to gain independence…this is why Mahatma Gandhi with foresight, he was a very clever baniya, he knew what was going to happen, he said immediately after independence that the Congress should be dissolved.”
He mocked at the current state of the Congress and the leadership and said “some people are now completing the job of dissolving the party, which Gandhiji couldn’t. He further added, “clarity of thought” helped (the BJP) take firm stances on issues.
After his statement, he got slammed badly by the Internet users:
