Amitabh Bachchan fetched attention after he was spotted arriving in Ayodhya to seek blessing at the newly consecrated Ram Mandir.

Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan was recently spotted in Ayodhya on Friday to visit the newly built Ram Mandir. This visit happened a few days after he attended the consecration ceremony with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In a video from PTI, Amitabh is seen surrounded by tight security as he goes to the temple to pray. The news agency shared the video, saying, “Actor Amitabh Bachchan (@SrBachchan) visits Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir to offer prayers.” the actor was dressed in traditional clothes while walking inside the temple. According to the news channel NDTV, the actor is currently in Uttar Pradesh to open a new showroom for a top jewelry brand, where he’s the brand ambassador.
His Previous Visit
Also on January 22, Amitabh was in Ayodhya for the ceremony of placing the idol in the Ram Mandir. He was among thousands of guests from entertainment, sports, and politics who were invited. Joining him was actor Abhishek Bachchan, that day. After the event, he shared some pictures on social media, including a glimpse of the Ram Lalla idol in the temple. In his blog, he called it “a day filled with the relevance of divine spirit.” He wrote, “A day filled with the relevance of divine spirit… back from the ceremony at Ayodhya… the glory, the celebration, and the belief of faith… immersed in the importance of the TEMPLE at Shri Ram’s birth… Not much can be said beyond this… for faith cannot be described.”

For those unaware let us tell you that before the consecration of the Ram Mandir, it’s said that Amitabh bought a piece of land in a fancy area in Ayodhya. The plot measures 10,000 square feet and is about a 15-minute drive from the Ram Mandir.
