Well unravelling the mystery she is none another noted social activist Sindhutai Sapkal, who is widely addressed as the “Mother of Orphans”. Sindhutai Sapkal helps in raising orphaned children in India and is popular for her work which is full of humanity yet courageous.
In this episode, Big B will be seen engaging in a conversation with Sindhutai, which reveals many interesting facts about her. For instance, Big B asks about her fascination for pink saris. To which Sindhutai replied: “I have seen so much of blackness, let there be a bit of pink in my life now.”
Sindhutai is a 70 years old social worker and social activist known as the “Mother of Orphans”. Being an unwanted child, she was referred to as Chindhi (Marathi for “torn piece of cloth”). However, her father focussed on her education against the will of her mother.
At the age of 10, she got married to a 20 years older man. At age 20, she became a mother of 3 sons and one daughter but this was not the life Sindhutai wanted she had some other plans and after struggling a lot and facing a hell lot of difficulties she decided to become a social activist. She adopted 1400 orphan children till now and working continuously for the betterment of orphan children in India.
