Kanika Kapoor, who recently recovered from COVID-19, has been issued a notice by UP Police. But the singer stated that she is innocent.

Singer Kanika Kapoor was in the headlines the past, as she turned out to be corona positive. But now she has beaten Corona and came back home. Although her difficulties seem to be increasing. Kanika Kapoor was given notice by the UP Police in the case of negligence. An FIR was lodged against Kanika Kapoor at Sarojini Nazar police station. Kanika has just recovered and is at her home. She was discharged in April after prolonged treatment at KGMU hospital. Kanika has returned to her normal life after a 14-day quarantine period.
In the notice issued by UP police, Kanika Kapoor was asked to record the statement. According to the reports, an investigation officer Shalimar reached her flat to take the statement. Along with Kanika, her lawyer was also present in her flat, and Kanika has got her statements recorded through a lawyer. In the recordings Kanika said, I came from UK on 10 March. Whereas on 18 March, an advisory was issued for those coming from the UK to go to Quarantine. No person I came in contact with turned out to be Corona positive. I attended a relative’s party. I conducted my own investigation, was admitted, and later was also home quarantine. By giving this statement Kanika proved herself innocent.
