The film is directed by Sudha Kongara and has entered the Oscar list in various categories including Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Director.
The makers of the movie have shared this good news on Twitter. The qualifying list for the 93rd Oscar Awards has been announced. The name ‘Soorarai Pottru’ has been added to the list of other Indian languages. ‘Soorarai Pottru’ has got a place in the list of 366 movies selected from all the countries. The Oscar nominations will be announced on March 15.
The movie is currently being discussed on social media. Actor Surya is appreciated. The film is based on the life of Air Deccan CEO Gopinath. The movie was to be released in theaters in the summer of 2020. However, due to the crisis of Corona and lockdown, the producers finally released the movie on Amazon Prime.
