Netflix drops a lot of series pretty quickly. Also, the films that the streaming service makes are not always of high quality. That has an effect, according to a new study.
Whip Media researched the value viewers see when it comes to a streaming service. Netflix was compared with eight other streaming services in that study and ended up at the bottom of the list.
Worst streaming service?
HBO Max turned out to be the best when it comes to rating. The platform is followed by Disney+, Hulu, Paramount+, Prime Video, Discovery+, Peacock, and Apple TV+.
But the data also shows that Netflix is winning in other areas. When asked which streaming service people want to keep if they can only have one, they choose Netflix.
Netflix received 41 percent of the vote on that question, followed by Hulu with a surprising 21 percent and HBO Max with 13 percent of the vote.
Earlier this year, Netflix prices went up and the company announced it was introducing a new model that also includes ads for less money.
