We’ve pretty much lost count by now, but on top of the Transformers animated series for Nickelodeon as well as the live-action sequel that ties into the original six parts in the series, there will be another live-action movie.
This must take place entirely in the world of the Autobots and Decepticons, without human actors. The film doesn’t have an official title yet, but the creative team can be sure.
According to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, studio Paramount has recruited Marco Ramirez to write the new script. After that, director Angel Manuel Soto is allowed to translate everything to the silver screen.
Young talent is enough
Their separate project will therefore not take place in the same universe as we have known it for 15 years. Ramirez is known as a co-creator of Marvel’s The Defenders . Before that, he worked behind the scenes on series such as Daredevil and Sons Of Anarchy .
Soto debuted last year with Charm City Kings which got good reviews recently and his name was called for an independent Blue Beetle to direct filming for DC and Warner Bros .
