A singer, lawyer and social activist by profession, Nazia faced many ups and downs in her life. She was diagnosed with cancer at the age 30 and after 5 years of it, she died. When she was 30 years old she married to a businessman Mirza Ishtiaq Bag in Karachi in 1995. She was already suffering from cancer that time. Two years later in 1997, she gave birth to a son Hassan. Due to cancer illness, she died in London on August 13, 2000. Ten days before her death, she had a divorce from his husband.
