There will be more television in April if you still have room on your viewing schedule after Succession and Ted Lasso returned with fresh seasons in March. Citadel, a Priyanka Chopra-starring crime thriller, Indian Matchmaking 3 (a guilty delight), Jubilee (a return to the Golden Age of Indian cinema), and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s final season are among the other films in this list.
IRL – In Real Love: Netflix (April 6)
IRL: In Real Love is the first relationship reality programme on Netflix. According to the official description of the program, “Four singles seeking love navigate its ups and downs through real and online connections — but will they choose virtual romance, or go offline?” Rannvijay Singha and Gauahar Khan will serve as hosts.
Jubilee: Amazon Prime Video (April 7)
Jubilee, a movie directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, is set during the Bollywood Golden Age. “A studio boss, his movie-star wife, a trusted aide, a rising star, a nautch girl and a refugee and the gambles they’re willing to take in pursuit of their dreams, passion, ambition and love” are the subjects of the tale. Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurana, Wamiqa Gabbi, Sidhant Gupta, Nandish Sandhu, and Ram Kapoor are among the performers who support the series. On April 7, the first five episodes of the show will go live on streaming services, and the final five shows will follow on April 14.
Rennervations: Disney+ Hotstar (April 12)
Actor Jeremy Renner renovates used cars so that local towns in need can use them in the four-part, unscripted series Rennervations. Renner will tour the world in the television series. During his journey to India, he will be joined by actor Anil Kapoor. Vanessa Hudgens, Sebastian Yatra, and Anthony Mackie are some of the other celebrities who will feature on the programme. In the series’ trailer, Renner had stated that he would use “decommissioned government vehicles” to assist regional communities in Rajasthan, Reno, Chicago, and Cabo San Lucas in a “different way” in the series.
The Marvelous Mrs Maisel S5: Prime Video (April 14)
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s (Rachel Brosnahan) Miriam Midge Maisel will get closer to her long-awaited triumph in the final season, only to discover that the journey is still far from over. A new episode of the show will be published every week beginning on April 14 after the first three episodes have been streamed. In addition to Brosnahan, the show also stars Tony Shalhoub, Alex Borstein, Marin Hinkle, Michael Zegen, Kevin Pollak, Caroline Aaron, Reid Scott, Alfie Fuller, Jason Ralph, and Alex Borstein. On May 26, the concluding episode of the season will air.
Mrs Undercover: ZEE5 (April 14)
Radhika Apte plays a housewife in the ZEE5 movie Mrs. Undercover before being rehired as an undercover operative to stop a serial killer who preys on strong, independent women. The movie appears to be entertaining based on the trailer, where Apte’s Durga goes from being a meek homemaker to an undercover operative who dispatches criminals with the same ease that she manages her family. Indrashish Roy, Angana Roy, Laboni Sarkar, Roshni Bhattacharya, Sumeet Vyas, Shaheb Chattopadhyay, and Biswajeet Chakraborty are also featured in the movie.
Plane: Lionsgate Play (April 14)
Plane, starring Mike Colter and Gerard Butler, will debut on Lionsgate Play in India. The story follows pilot Brodie, who gets stuck in a hostile environment and has to make an emergency landing in the midst of a storm while hauling a wanted man. Will Brodie reach his daughter after seriously damaging his aircraft?
Tooth Pari: When Love Bites: Netflix (April 20)
A human-vampire love tale is at the centre of the fantasy thriller Tooth Pari, which stars Shantanu Maheshwari and Tanya Maniktala. Tanya’s character Rumi is a vampire, and Shantanu plays a doctor in the show. Tanya, who has a broken fang, sees Shantanu’s clinic, and the two fall in love. On April 20, when the show on Netflix begins to stream, we’ll know what will happen to their friendship. Along with Tillotama Shome, it also features Adil Hussain, Revathy, Saswata Chatterjee.
Indian Matchmaking S3: Netflix (April 21)

The Netflix series Indian Matchmaking will shortly return with a new season starring Sima Taparia. The third season of the Smriti Mundhra-created television show will follow “Sima aunty” as she searches for the ideal partner for the millennial generation.The synopsis of the web series reads, “From London to New Delhi, Miami to New York, Sima will manage more expectations than ever before from clients, old and new. Drawing from her decades of experience, intuition and traditional methods, Sima strives to help some lucky singles find their destinies.”
Citadel: Amazon Prime Video (April 28)
On April 28, Prime Video will eventually begin streaming Citadel, the Russo Brothers’ (Anthony and Joe Russo) highly anticipated series starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. Mason Kane (Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Chopra), two elite agents for the international spy organisation Citadel, are the focus of the six-episode spy drama. After a life-threatening assault eight years ago, both of their memories were erased, and they now live normal lives under new identities. The star cast includes Lesley Manville, Osy Ikhile, Ashleigh Cummings, Roland Muller, and Caoilinn Springalls.
