On Thursday, Bollywood actor-producer Arbaaz Khan is set to host a show titled The Invincibles. The upcoming chat show will feature the legends of the Hindi film industry.
The show is expected to drive back to the golden days of cinema while also take the viewers for a “nostalgia trip”. The chat show will be released in six parts starring the industry veteran including Salim Khan, Arbaaz’s father and a coveted writer, his stepmother and actor Helen, writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar, veteran superstars Waheeda Rahman, Shatrughan Sinha and director Mahesh Bhatt.
“Cinema is evergreen and I wanted to create a series that evokes nostalgia. Quite often, I have this fear that the stories we’ve grown up listening to will get lost if we don’t document them.”
“This is my attempt at playing a biographer for an industry that I have seen up close and personal. I want to chronicle the legendary stories and celebrate the people who’ve created gold in the process,” Arbaaz Khan, who is also a host on a celebrity talk show Pinch, averred in a statement.
The first episode is set to feature Salim Khan, which will be streaming from tomorrow on an entertainment platform. New episode will be out every Friday.
