Ramanand Sagar’s epic mythological TV series Ramayana made even an atheist that God exists. The role of main lead Ram played by actor Arun Govil was worshipped as a God in every Indian home after that. He played his role so naturally that people found a glimpse of real Ram Bhagwan in him.
Born on born 12 January 1958, actor Arun Govil is an Indian actor, producer and director. He has acted in various Hindi, Bhojpuri, Braj Bhasha, Oriya and Telugu movies. He hails from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his education at Meerut University, where he acted in some plays. He spent his teenage life in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. His father wanted him to become a government servant while Arun wanted to do something for which he would be remembered. In 1975, at the young age of 17, he moved to Mumbai to start his own business there. He later found his way into acting.
But why today we are talking about him? The reason is his daughter. Well, he has two children from his marriage with wife Srilekha. Their names are Amal and Sonika. His daughter Sonika is quite active on social media and has a number of followers. She is still studying. She is a deadly combo of simplicity plus glamour at the same time.
